Esslingen am Neckar, Hotel niu Timber

AVONIA Real Estate and MERKUR Development Holding have joined forces to build a new hotel at the former Weber site in Esslingen, with 227 double bedrooms and 61 parking spaces. This new complex, with roughly 7,500 sqm of usable floor space on six floors (including a basement) will be run by NOVUM Hospitality of Hamburg under the “niu Timber” name. The official opening is scheduled for the end of 2019.

Stuttgart’s Pragsattel area will soon boast an office and hotel complex with about 11,000 sqm of usable floor space and 89 underground parking spaces, built by the JV comprising AVONIA Real Estate, MERKUR Development Holding, and OSWA Planen und Bauen. This highrise with 182 hotel rooms will have unrivaled views of the adjoining Killesberg area and downtown Stuttgart. The offices, with about 3,500 sqm to rent, will be housed in a separate six-storey building within the complex.
